PAC Community and Fundraising Events
Every year, Parent Advisory Council (PAC) hosts community and fundraising events to bring families together, strengthen school spirit, and raise funds for programs and resources that enhance students’ learning experiences. These events play a vital role in building a supportive, inclusive school community while providing much-needed support for educational initiatives.
Bayridge PAC Annual Events
Bayridge PAC proudly organizes events like the Welcome Back BBQ, Holiday Pancake Breakfast, and Pop-Up Sales to bring our community together. In some years, additional events such as the Easter Bunny Visit, Lunar New Year celebrations, Spirit Wear Sales, Cheque Campaigns, Pub Nights, and Silent Auctions are hosted to further engage families and support the school. Bayridge PAC Events at a Glance

Welcome Back BBQ
The Welcome Back Party is a fun-filled event typically held in September, coinciding with Meet the Teacher Day. Lasting about two hours, this celebration offers families an opportunity to enjoy carnival games, a Cakewalk, and a delicious BBQ while connecting with the school community.

Holiday Pancake Breakfast
The Pancake Breakfast is a festive event typically held in December to celebrate the holiday season. Taking place from 7:30 to 8:30 AM in the school gym, it features a delicious menu of pancakes, sausages, drinks, and fruit. Santa also makes a special visit to Bayridge on this day, delighting students and families who enjoy taking pictures with him.

Spirit Wear
Spirit Wear items, such as T-shirts, hoodies, pants, and hats, help foster school spirit, a sense of belonging, and pride among students, families, and staff. The PAC organizes Spirit Wear sales periodically based on the needs of our school community. Stay tuned for email updates when Spirit Wear sales begin!

Lunar New Year Activity
The Lunar New Year celebration is one of our cherished cultural activities. On this day, the PAC typically hosts a Lunar New Year snack pop-up sale. Traditional New Year activities, such as creating festive decorations, are organized in collaboration with school staff.

Easter Bunny Visit
In 2024, the Easter Bunny visited Bayridge, bringing joy to students with colorful Easter eggs. The Bunny also awarded prizes to the winners of the Easter Poster Design Contest. Students were excited to meet the Bunny, making the event a cherished cultural celebration filled with fun and creativity.

Pop-Up sales
Our pop-up sales are held through out school year. This is our smallest fundarise event. It is usually held at pick-up time. Typical items sold include seasonal treats, baked goods or snacks.

Grade 7 Fundraises
Each year, Grade 7 parents organize a variety of fundraising events to help cover the costs of the graduation ceremony and camp activities. Get involved by connecting with Grade 7 parents or supporting their fundraising initiatives.

Pub Night + Silent Auction
Here’s a fundraiser designed just for parents—but with all proceeds benefiting the kids! This exciting event offers a fun evening and a wonderful chance to connect with other parents. Typically held at a local restaurant, tickets for the dinner combo can be purchased through HotLunch. The event isn’t limited to parents, so feel free to invite friends and family to join in the fun.
Adding to the excitement, a silent auction will take place during the event. The PAC executive team works tirelessly to assemble an outstanding selection of items, including Pilates club lessons, hockey tickets, fun experiences, charcuterie boards, and even interior design consultations! Don’t miss this amazing opportunity to have a great night out while supporting the school.
