General Meetings
General meetings are a chance for parents and guardians to discuss matters that affect the school and its students:
- Share ideas
- Parents can share their views and feedback with the school’s principal and staff
- Learn about the school
- Parents can learn about the school, the school district, and education in general
- Get involved
- Parents can participate in school activities, promote school initiatives, and help with fundraising
- Contribute to the community
- Parents can help build a sense of community within the school and between the school, home, and neighbourhood
As outlined in our Constitution and Bylaws, the Bayridge PAC holds four general meetings each school year. The first meeting typically takes place in September or October and often includes voting on the annual budget. The final meeting, the Annual General Meeting (AGM), is dedicated to electing the Executive Team for the upcoming year.
